Letter To The Voice In My Head

Nagging.
Screaming.
Red hot in the back of my head and the pit of my stomach.
Second guessing,
second besting
you're actually making me worse!
I will shake you off
I will break you off
Until you are broken and bleeding,
whimpering so far back in my mind
that I will easily smother the spirit breaking words
that seem to be all you can utter.
